Pregnancies less than 34 weeks

If you are less than thirty-four (34) weeks pregnant, in normal health and with no pregnancy complications, you will normally be accepted without need of medical clearance.


Pregnancies 34 weeks and after

If you are thirty-four (34) weeks pregnant or beyond, you need to present a medical certificate with the notation "Fit to Travel" and signed by a physician.

In addition, you must complete your travel within the validity period of the medical certificate which should be ten (10) days from date of issuance. However, if you are flying to or from the United Sates, you are required to submit a medical certificate for your outbound travel only, the medical certificate of which must be dated within ten (10) days of the scheduled date of initial departure.

Complicated pregnancies 

If your pregnancy is considered high risk, such that a condition exists that creates a reasonable doubt that you or your baby can complete the flight safely without needing extraordinary medical care, you are required to present a medical certificate with the above notation, dated within ten (10) days of the scheduled date of initial departure. Except for flights to or from the United States, you must complete your travel within ten (10) days from date of issuance.
